Churnstyle

Boston-based small-batch homemade ice cream brand Churnstyle reached out to me to develop their branding and some packaging mockups. The idea was to capture the nostalgia of classic ice cream flavors with color & art-deco elements in the illustration style while keeping the design itself fresh and modern. I had fun playing around with the “turnstyle” play-on-words by bringing in subway elements, such as a token—and the interactive idea that the peel-away lid on your ice cream cup is a souvenir subway token to keep!
