Ibotta is a leading cash back rewards platform that allows savers to earn real money on their purchases, whether they are shopping online or in-store.
As a Graphic Designer on the D2C creative team, my role is to evolve and maintain the D2C brand identity across a sprawling digital ecosystem including email and marketing campaigns, in-app messaging, custom and client-paid ad products, paid and organic social media, web design, and icons and illustration.
Ibotta’s Help Center is a high-vis piece of the D2C side of Ibotta’s business that unfortunately had been previously forgotten during previous brand refreshes. I reached out to the Care Team to let them know that they would not be left behind with our most recent brand update, and partnered with them to redesign the site from the inside out to make it feel fresh, clean, and most importantly consistent with the rest of the current Ibotta D2C identity.
Inside-out refresh: Design a clean and easy-to-navigate home page as well as internal articles so our Savers have a smooth UI experience. Savers should feel welcomed, particularly since they’re likely already visiting the Help Center because they’re having technical issues, and should instantly feel like they are still navigating an Ibotta-branded site.
Updated graphics: Integrate the new illustration style for icons and graphics throughout the site.
