Ibotta is a leading cash back rewards platform that allows savers to earn real money on their purchases, whether they are shopping online or in-store.

As a Graphic Designer on the D2C creative team, my role is to evolve and maintain the D2C brand identity across a sprawling digital ecosystem including email and marketing campaigns, in-app messaging, custom and client-paid ad products, paid and organic socail media, web design, and icons and illustration.

Every year, Ibotta celebrates its accomplishments and the accomplishments of its users by launching a marketing event called Year In Review that hits every digital touchpoint.

This year, I set out to increase user retention and brand affinity by delivering a personalized "wrapped" experience. The challenge was to translate complex annual savings statistics into a punchy, high-energy visual narrative that felt both celebratory and nostalgic.

Theme: "Playback the Hits"—a retro tribute to the community’s greatest financial feats.

Visual language: Use a high-contrast palette of neon brand colors, glitch textures, and synth-wave aesthetics.

Omnichannel execution: Design a cohesive system for email communications, blog features, in-app messaging, and organic social media to ensure a seamless "rewind" experience.
